Ever stay awake at night wondering what a "donker" is?
Then you are strange and should get help. But if you are curious, and reading about it on Wikipedia doesn't cut it for you, join us every Sunday for a six flight Belgian beer tasting hosted by Resto's new beer sommelier, Ben Wild and learn more about the most dynamic and diverse collection of beers in the world.
Classes start at 4:00pm and last approximately 60 minutes. The schedule is as follows:
- Sunday December 21st - Beers of Belgium 101 (the college class you wish you had)
- Sunday December 28th - Christmas Beers (tis the 'saison' for spicier browns and dubbles)
- Sunday January 4th - Abbeys and Triples (the pop music of the Belgian beer world)
- Sunday January 11th - Dubbles and Browns
- Sunday January 18th - Lambics (from framboise to gueze)
- Sunday January 25th - Wittes & Saisons (by then we will be thinking of summer)

Resto will be hosting a beer dinner one Monday night of each month. The dinners will be limited to 16 people and will focus on either style of beer or beers from a specific brewery. Come enjoy several courses of food paired perfectly with a variety of Belgian brews.
The Trappist Feast (Monday, January 12th)
Resto is hosting a 7 course prix fix dinner carefully paired with the oldest and most storied Belgian Brews.
Course 2 chimay cinq cents
Course 3 westmalle blend - a classic blend of westmalle trippel and dubbel
Course 4 orval
Course 5 konings hoeven dubbel
Course 6 westvleteren 12
Course 7 rochefort 10
(Although each course will be paired with a specific ale, all of the Trappist beers will be available to taste including all of the westvleteren beers)
